Arsenal and Liverpool have joined the race to acquire PSV Eindhoven star Ibrahim Sangare alongside Man United.
The Red Devils have reignited their interest in Ibrahim Sangare by sending a scout to watch the Ivory Coast international play last weekend. However, the Gunners and Liverpool are also interested in the 25-year-old player.
Ibrahim Sangare is a highly sought-after player
In the summer of 2022, Sangare signed a new contract with his Eredivisie team. However, his current agreement includes a release clause worth £32.7 million – a relatively affordable amount. Another advantage for the three Premier League clubs is that Sangare is ready to play in England.
Arsenal has clearly struggled in the latter part of the season. Mikel Arteta has relied on midfielders Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka, but for the next season, the Gunners’ midfield needs to be reinforced, and Sangare is the ideal solution.
Similarly, Jurgen Klopp’s team needs an upgrade, and even Liverpool will want to buy at least two midfielders to add to their squad.
Man United also needs a backup plan for Casemiro, as Scott McTominay and Fred lack consistency. It’s clear that the Red Devils have played poorly without the service of the Brazilian star.”
