Manchester United were dealt a blow as Amad Diallo struggled to leave the stadium on crutches

Amad Diallo, a substitute who was injured against Arsenal and had to be removed from the game, had difficulty walking thereafter, which has Manchester United concerned.

On Saturday at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the 21-year-old sensation, who had previously played on loan for Sunderland, only appeared for 13 minutes in the second half of the game.

Just before the hour mark, Diallo was replaced by Uruguayan Facundo Pellistri.

With two powerful goals at the conclusion of the first half, Bruno Fernandes and Jadon Sancho gave United a 2-0 victory.

After the break, the Red Devils’ quick play was impressive—that is, until Diallo wounded himself and it became clear that adjustments needed to be done.

The Ivorian, who has represented his nation four times, was removed off the field and assisted as he walked away along the sideline.

He didn’t appear to be standing with much weight on his left foot.

The blow from Diallo will hurt the former Atlanta star even more as he tries to finally break through for United.

After he almost led Sunderland to promotion from the Championship, many teams wanted to sign him.

Instead, another wide player, Sancho, who was under a lot of pressure, took his chance to try to get a regular starting spot.

Fernandes came in from the right and scored with a 20-yard left-footed shot that diving Aaron Ramsey might have been able to stop. Seven minutes later, Sancho took advantage of Gabriel’s bad defense when he ran into the right side of the box and scored in the top corner.
