Arsenal are confident of securing the signing of Declan Rice this summer after climbing into a very strong position to complete a deal, sources have told Football Insider. Rice is expected to leave West Ham for a fee of around £100m.

Moises Caicedo has a clause in his Brighton and Hove Albion contract that would facilitate a switch to Arsenal this summer, according to reports. The Gunners could be in luck if they reignite their interest in Caicedo at the end of the season, with Brighton prepared to be raided for their top stars.
Arsenal attempted to sign the 21-year-old midfielder in the latter stages of the January transfer window as Mikel Arteta scoured the market to reinforce his title-challenging squad.
But Brighton rejected a £70million bid before Caicedo signed a contract extension at the Amex Stadium.
His future is up in the air again ahead of the summer, though, along with midfield partner Alexis Mac Allister amid heavyweight interest.
And according to The Athletic, both players’ Brighton deals include a complex ‘mechanism’ that will make it easier to complete high-profile switches.
