According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Man Utd and Inter Milan have reportedly met the deadline to finalize the Andre Onana trade
David De Gea’s uncertain future has Man Utd desperate to find a David De Gea replacement. According to the Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport, the time for finalising the transfer of Andre Onana between Manchester United and Inter Milan has apparently expired.
After meeting in Ibiza, Inter’s sports director Piero Asilo and Manchester United’s football executive David Harrison discussed this.
Both sides want a quick solution to close the deal immediately and Gazzetta dello Sport insists Onana can ‘become a Man Utd player on Friday’. The report adds that Asilo will meet with the player’s agent and Man Utd in the ‘next 48 hours’.
When Erik Ten Hag was still the manager of Ajax, Onana was a student of the coach. This goalie, who is renowned for his footwork, helped Inter reach the Champions League final the previous year.
De Gea, the goalkeeper for Manchester United, might also have to take a reserve role if the Red Devils are successful in signing Onana.
