UPDATE: Man United ready to recruit Kalvin Phillips for €40m
Fichajes claims that Man City will receive an offer from Man United regarding Kalvin Phillips.
Numerous celebrities are on Man United’s radar, but none have visited Old Trafford thus far. The Red Devils seem to be out of reach for Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen. They are also quite a distance from Declan Rice, and despite sending a third offer to the England international, Chelsea declined to sell to Mason Mount.
Recently, Fichajes newspaper reported that Man United are interested in Kalvin Phillips in an effort to strengthen the midfield. The 27-year-old has had a rough time at City since leaving Leeds United last summer. Phillips played just 595 minutes all season. Despite his lackluster role at the Etihad, the 27-year-old recently reiterated his desire to stay at the Etihad and fight for his place.
Despite the midfielder’s intention to stay, the Red Devils are ready to spend 40 million euros to recruit him. Obviously, any Man United deal with Man City will be complicated, although the Old Trafford team can promise a regular appearance in the squad for Phillips. The former Leeds United star could leave if Rice goes to the Etihad, because recently, Man City also signed Mateo Kovacic.
